PET/PE laminates run on most horizontal and vertical FFS machines that can handle film widths up to around 600 mm. You will need to confirm your machine's sealing temperature range — PET/PE typically seals cleanly between 120°C and 160°C depending on the PE sealant grade and dwell time. Send us your machine model and current film spec and we will advise on compatibility before you order.
Yes. PET/PE laminates retain flexibility and seal integrity at freezer temperatures, making them a standard choice for frozen dim sum and pasta. The main risk at low temperatures is impact brittleness if the bag is dropped while frozen; if your product is particularly heavy or bone-shaped we would suggest specifying a slightly thicker gauge or moving to a PA/PE laminate which has higher low-temperature toughness.

Our pre-press team adapts the file to the bag dimensions, checks trapping, barcode contrast and clearance around the seal areas, then returns a digital proof for written approval. For gravure we can also supply a printed proof pulled from the engraved cylinders before the full run. Nothing goes on press until the proof is signed off, and the approved file is archived so repeat orders match the first delivery.
The material is food-grade PET/PE — a standard food-contact laminate used throughout the bakery and frozen food industry. We hold FDA 21 CFR 177 for the food-contact grades used in this structure. For sale into the EU we arrange migration testing at an accredited laboratory — including one you nominate — and issue the declaration against your order. Tell us your target market at enquiry stage and the documentation will be in place before production.
Yes — send us a physical sample or a dimensioned dieline and we will replicate the width, length, gusset and seal width precisely. If you also have the existing artwork files, we can rebuild them to the new film structure and send a printed proof for approval before the main run.
