A conventional laminate mixes polyester, aluminium and polyethylene, which a sorting plant cannot separate — it ends up as reject. This pouch is polyethylene throughout, so it belongs in the PE film stream. The trade-off is a slightly lower oxygen barrier, which is why we offer a high-barrier PE grade for products that need a longer shelf life.
In most cases yes. Send us the physical pouch or the artwork and we will match the Pantone build, the matte and gloss areas and the dimensions. Because the film surface differs from a PET laminate, we send a printed proof for sign-off before the main run.
For 250 g coffee or tea most customers land around 110–130 micron; heavier fills and long sea freight push it up toward 180 micron. Tell us the fill weight, the destination and whether the cartons are palletised and we will recommend a thickness and back it with a drop test.
Yes — spouts, one-way degassing valves, slider zippers and hang holes are all available. Orders with accessories run about 10 days longer than the standard lead time because the components are fitted on a separate station.
Send the size, gauge, structure and artwork and we will come back with a costed offer against that specification together with a lead time. In practice the four things that move the answer most are the fill weight and format, the barrier grade you need for your shelf-life target, the closure and any accessories such as a valve or spout, and the finish. If you already have a pouch you like, send the physical sample and we will measure it rather than ask you to guess at the gauge.
