For most round pizza formats yes — the 0.16 mm PA/PE is the standard gauge used in food service vacuum packing for baked goods. For deep-dish pizzas with raised edges or products with protruding skewers, we recommend specifying 0.20 mm or asking us to check whether a gusseted format would reduce the stress on the seal. We can supply drop-test data for your weight category.
Yes, that is the main use case. The clear PA/PE construction has no restriction on chilled or frozen display. If the bag will sit in a wet fish-counter or an ice bed, check that the seal edge does not score on sharp ice; a wider sealing edge specification reduces that risk.
The film is produced from food-contact grade PA and PE resins and runs in standard food vacuum bag applications, but this listing carries no third-party food-contact certificate and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. If your retail buyer or export market requires a documented declaration, our certified PA/PE vacuum bag listing is the better starting point. We can arrange migration testing at an accredited laboratory — including one your buyer nominates — and issue the food-contact declaration against the order.

The film has a degree of heat tolerance that allows sealing of product that has cooled to around 40–50 °C — typical for bakery goods that have been removed from the oven and rested briefly. Sealing while the product is still very hot risks distorting the bag and weakening the seal. Test with the first delivery to find the right cool-down time for your specific product and oven type.
