Keep the wicketed stacks flat in their original cartons, indoors, dry and out of direct sunlight — UV embrittles polyethylene over time and a warped wicket stack will mis-feed. Let cartons that have been in a cold store come back to room temperature before opening, otherwise condensation forms on the film and the bags cling together on the wicket. Rotate stock so the oldest cartons run first; the film is at its best within twelve months of manufacture.
This product is manufactured under ISO 9001, the LDPE film is food-grade, and the structure is covered by FDA 21 CFR 177 for US food contact. For sale into the EU we arrange migration testing at an accredited laboratory — including one you nominate — and issue the declaration against your order. Tell us your target market and we will include the documentation alongside the production paperwork.
Wicket bags need to be matched to your machine's wicket pitch, lip depth and jaw width. Share the machine make, model and current bag spec with us and we will confirm the configuration before production. Getting this right at the sampling stage avoids scrapped bags on the first run.
Co-extruded LDPE maintains flexibility at typical freezer temperatures and has better cold-chain puncture resistance than single-layer film. For very aggressive handling — for example bags that will be stacked and dragged across rough floors — we may recommend adding an LLDPE layer or increasing gauge; we will specify this once we know your fill weight and distribution conditions.
A first custom-printed order takes 20–25 working days from artwork approval and deposit receipt, extending to 25–35 working days on multi-container runs. We will not release the run until you have approved a printed proof, so build a few days into your schedule for that step.
