Medical and laboratory packaging

Medical packaging is bought on documentation as much as on film: every claim has to survive an audit. This page covers the sterilization pouches, biohazard bags, specimen bags and hospital liners we produce, and the compliance evidence that ships with them.

What medical packaging actually gets tested on

A sterilization pouch has to let steam or EO gas in and keep microbes out - two jobs that pull the film in opposite directions. A biohazard bag has to carry the biohazard mark that survives printing on film, hold a heavy contaminated load, and be identifiable after autoclaving. Specimen and lab bags must not leak under centrifuge or transport vibration. Each line is specified and QC-checked for its actual use, not for a generic "medical grade" label.

Sterilization pouches and rollstock

Self-sealing sterilization pouches with indicator stripes are produced for steam, EO and gamma processes, in sizes for instruments through to large sets. Print, colour coding and pouch-to-roll formats are all customizable, with lot and batch documentation on every production run.

Biohazard, specimen and patient lines

Yellow biohazard liners, specimen and urine-stool collection bags, and patient belongings bags are produced in PE and CPE with print up to 10-colour gravure. Where a hospital system needs a specific colour, size or label position, that is part of the spec rather than a special.

Compliance and documentation

Production is BRC and ISO 9001 certified with full batch traceability. Finished goods are inspected to AQL 1.5 and every order ships with documentation that answers a hospital audit - certificates, test reports and lot records on request.
